CalcBloc 1045 is a liquid water softener for preventing limescale deposits in appliances with hot water functions. It is suitable for use in steam irons, steam cleaners, steam ironing stations, humidifiers, indoor fountains, and other appliances with an integrated water tank and heating element. Its application is simple, effective, and saves long-term maintenance costs and appliance repairs.
✅ Application
Before use, the device should be turned off and completely cooled down. If necessary, empty the water tank and rinse it with clean water. Then fill the tank with fresh tap water and add the appropriate amount of CalcBloc 1045 directly. No mixing or pretreatment is required. After filling, the device can be operated as usual. For permanent protection against limescale, we recommend using CalcBloc 1045 every time you fill the water tank.
📌 Dosage
The standard dosage is:
For soft to medium hard water, add 1 ml of CalcBloc 1045 per 1 liter of water .
For fairly hard to very hard water, add 2 ml of CalcBloc 1045 per 1 liter of water .
🧼 Maintenance & Care
Before using CalcBloc 1045 for the first time, we recommend thoroughly descaling the device to remove any deposits. Regular use will then ensure that it remains consistently free of limescale. For general maintenance, simply rinse the water tank with clean water at regular intervals. If the device is not used for an extended period, empty the tank and store it in a dry place.

🌡️ Storage & Shelf Life
Store CalcBloc 1045 in a dry place at temperatures between 5°C and 30°C . Avoid direct sunlight and protect from frost. The unopened product has a shelf life of at least 3 years . Once opened, it should be used within 12 months .
